Schmooze Professional

The Schmooze Professional Network is for established professionals from manager to executive level. Started in 2003, it has over 350 members from a wide range of professions representing all sectors from government, the arts, non-profit and private sector.

We stage several networking and professional development events each month ranging from invitation- only executive level lunches, networking dinners, seminars, master classes and of course, the monthly Schmooze cocktail functions which attract over 120 members and guests on average.

Membership for the Professional Branch of Schmooze will be capped at 500 organisations in 2009 to ensure the quality, revelance and range of organisations/sectors represented in our membership.

Our approach is collaborative and personalised and we eschew the hard-sell philosophy of some networks.

Members can take advantage of Schmooze as an excellent means to enhance their marketing and client relationship strategies in several ways including:

• showcasing their expertise through professional development events
• access to the online members contacts database which provides the contact details and services the organisation offers
• sponsoring or supporting our activities
• participating in the range of professional or social networking events
• advertising their events on the website events calendar

In addition, we also offer a service that is unique to Schmooze- the Schmooze Concierge Service. All you need to do is contact us prior to an event with your request or who you’d like to meet and at the event one of the Schmooze team will make the introduction for you discreetly and then the rest is up to you.

We also provide a discreet professional intermediary service where we can cultivate contacts on your behalf, such as personally inviting members to special presentations you host. A consultancy fee applies for service.
