Membership Package Options
When you join Schmooze you can choose from one of three membership Packages that best reflects what you want to achieve from your involvement in our community.
We welcome the opportunity to discuss which membership option suits you best and can arrange an obligation free consultation to meet with you on how Schmooze can assist you to further your professional or social goals.
- Professional: for those wishing to advertise, promote their services or events, attend all our professional development workshops, receive business referrals and attend our networking events fo free for business and professional reasons.
- An Associate option is also available for two or more staff attend our events at the same time. It has the full inclusions as a Professional membership at reduced rate.
- Social: for those just wishing to socialise, make new friends, enjoy a range of benefits and attend the monthly Schmooze's
- Young Professional: for under 30's who want to receive all the benefits of being a member of Schmooze and access our full program and benefit including our SYPG program.
- Casual Tickets for non-members to attend our events
PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIP
This option is for organisations or individuals wanting to promote their expertise, events, services or products and access professional development opportunities. This package rovides for a very targeted and personalised way to introduce yourself to fellow professionals in a wide range of sectors for busienss and professional reasons.
The majority of members in this category are senior managers, owners of their own company over 35. You can also invest in an Associate membership for additional colleagues from your organisation, or perhaps a Young Professional option may suit them- please see below.

PROFESSIONAL PACKAGE
This option is for organisations or individuals wanting to promote their expertise, events, services or products and access professional development opportunities. It is very flexible in that for each membership any one person from your organisation can attend our events for free, and all your staff can share access to our online resources and member benefits.
Investment: $660 incl GST for 12 months / $450 incl GST for 6 months (three equal instalments are available upon request for 12 month option)
The total value of a 12 month package is over $2500 if you attended all our events on a casual basis (which cost $55 per person for non-members), not including the additional services, member -only activities and other benefits we offer.
When you join, one of the Schmooze team will meet with you to advise on how to make the most of your membership and suggest a program of activity for you.

- Free attendance for ANY one person from your organisation to ANY Schmooze hosted events including the Monthly Schmooze, Monthly Workshops, special Interest Groups and networking lunches or dinners (value to attend all these events is over $250 each month)
- Receive Four Guest Passes for 12 months (or two Guest Passes for six months) to enable friends and colleagues to attend any Schmooze hosted event for free (each Pass is worth $55)
- Access to member-only special Interest Groups discussions

- Advertise through Schmooze your events, news and offers via the website and e-news
- Contribute articles to website to showcase your expertise
- Add unlimited events onto the website calendar

- Eligible to present at professional development workshops and other events

- Attend Monthly Workshops and Presentations from subject matter experts

Associate PACKAGE (Organisation must HAVE purchaseD a PROFESSIONAL option first)
This option available for additional staff of organisations who have purchased a Professional Package membership to enable mulitple staff to attend our events at the same time.
Investment: $450 incl GST for 12 months / $225 incl GST for 6 months (Quarterly Payment Instalments are available via Direct Debit upon request)
Package inclusions as per Professional Package including:
- Unlimited attendance for any one person from your organisation to attend Schmooze hosted events at no charge
- Four Guest Passes for 12 months or two Guest Passes for six months to give to friends and colleagues to attend a Schmooze hosted event for free
- Choose from up to six events per month to participate including Monthly Schmooze, Workshops, Interest Groups and networking lunches or dinners
- Access to member only Interest Groups and other activities for free

- Able to contribute articles or resources onto website and e-news

Social Member PACKAGE
For individuals who want to participate in our social activities, and make lots of friendly new contacts in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
Investment: $225 incl GST for 6 months / $450 incl GST for 12 months
- Attend the Monthly Schmooze for free
- Receive Two Guest Passes (value $55 each) to give to friends and colleagues to attend a Schmooze event for free
- Access to events hosted by other members at special rates
- Access to Schmooze Professional Development Workshops at special rates
- Online Profile and access to contacts database with hundreds of members to meet virtually
- Access to online resources such as articles, special offers
- Receive offers and benefits from other members including our Referral Program
- Note, social members cannot add events or items onto the wesbite, advertise in the e-news or attend Interest Group discussions, for those options you need a Professional Package
Young Professional PACKAGE
The option is for young professionals under 30 to attend our full program of events. This Package is also an excellent investment by an organisation wanting to provide professional development opportunities to their under 30's staff.
Investment: $225 incl GST for 6 months / $450 incl GST for 12 months
- Unlimited attendance to Schmooze hosted events at no charge nationally including up to eight events per month including Monthly Schmooze, Workshops, Interest Groups and networking lunches or dinners for free
- Receive Four Guest Passes for 12 months or two Guest Passes for six months to give to friends and colleagues to attend any event for free
- Reciprocal rights with kindred networking groups interstate
- Discounted rates for special or Schmooze hosted social events
- Promote our Expertise, Events and News
- Advertise through network (website and e-news)
- Contribute articles to website to showcase expertise
- Add unlimited events onto the website calendar
- Add unlimited notices or offers onto website

CASUAL FEES FOR NON-MEMBERS
Most of our events (except our Interest Groups) are open to non-member guests.
Schmoooze Young Professional Group Events
Young professionals and students can attend these events on a casual basis.
- Passes can be purchased in bulk by organisations, companies or Government Departments at a special rate (more than 20)
- Tertiary student: $20

Schmooze Professional Events
Non-members can attend some of our activities on a casual basis.
- Monthly Schmooze: $55 incl GST

- Professional Development Workshops: $55 incl GST
