No two monthly Schmooze's are ever the same purposely to ensure we offer our members and guests the most vibrant networking program in Canberra.
This month we are hosted by the brand new M16 Artspace in Griffith.
The evening will include live performances, art tours and some special surprises that will make this a Schmooze to remember!
M16 Artspace is a unique cultural destination - a place in which to make, share and experience art, and is the largest community-based visual arts facility in the ACT.
Providing visual arts infrastructure and development opportunities to artists, arts organisations and the community. M16 houses twenty-eight artist studios, three extraordinary galleries and four exhibition spaces.
ABOUT M16 ARTSPACE
A place to make, share and experience art, M16 at Griffith is the largest community-based visual arts facility in the ACT.
M16 has run an independent arts centre for 25-years.
From its former home in the cold depths of an old Fyshwick bus repair depot M16 has now taken up residence in the heart of Canberra’s south, and is set to become a significant and unique national visual arts hub.
The ground floor of the beautiful old Blaxland centre has been carefully and creatively refurbished, refitted, had its floors polished and walls prepared to create 28 artists’ studios, four spacious workshop spaces and three extraordinary galleries.
