Schmooze offers a comprehensive range of events and services for our members and guests who want to cultivate rewarding professional and social relationships. New members are welcome, and if you are interested in joining and want to try us first please get in touch for a Guest Pass to one of our Monthly Schmooze networking events.

OUR Activities
With a membership ranging from company owners, senior managers, creative professionals, young entrepreneurs, consultants, sales/marketing/PR, personal services and public servants, we offer the opportunity for members and guests to meet their peers, enhance their profile and cultivate new connections whilst having a great time in the process.
Our activities are designed to create welcoming 'comfort zones' for our members and guests ranging from young professional gatherings, seminars, invitiation-only master classes and networking lunches and dinners.
We also offer a targeted and personalised means to promote your events, services and expertise through a range of commuication channels. So even if you can't attend all our events, you can still benefit from our online resources and marketing opportunities.

Monthly Activities
Each month, except December, Schmooze hosts the following actitivies:
- The Monthly Schmooze
- Professional Development Workshop
- Member Only Interest Groups for: Sustainability, Marketing & Communications, Small Business Owners and Leadership
- Networking Lunch or Dinner
- Young Professional or Young Entrepreneurs Group events (alternating months)
In addition, members are often invited to events hosted by other members or kindred organisations at special rates.
Members can also advertise their own events and activities on our website for free as well as offer special deals or benefits to the membership, or to promote their expertise.

Membership packages
When you join, you must select one of these membership packages- you can choose from six or 12 months options for each:
- Professional: for those wishing to advertise, market their services or events, attend professional development activities and network for business or corporate reasons. An Associate option is also available for additional staff from the same organisation, or you can invest in additional Young Professional memberships.
- Social: for those wishing just to socialise, make new friends, enjoy a range of benefits and attend the monthly Schmooze's
- Young Professional: for under 30's who want to receive all the benefits of being a member of Schmooze, and attend SYPG and SYEG events.

HOW TO JOIN
To join Schmooze is a simple process:
- Fill in the online application form and press the Go button at the bottom of that screen
- Choose your method of payment - Visa and MasterCard via the Payment page, AMEX (call Schmooze with your card details) EFT (contact us for our account details) or Bartercard
- Your membership starts from the date of payment and you'll have access to the resources in the Members Lounge once payment is paid.
- Once you've completed your membership form, we'll contact you within 24hours to process your payment (if you haven't already paid) and confirm your membership via email and we'll activate your website log-in once you've paid.
TRY US FIRST & Policies
If you want to experience a Schmooze before joining you can request a Guest Pass to attend one of our Monthly Schmooze networking functions, please contact us to get on the list- we offer a limited number of places each month.
You should also view footage of some recent events to get a sense of the vibe and the comments of our members and guests, on our Schmooze TV page.
Note: We also consider the culture fit of our group and want to protect the environment we've created. We want our members to be comfortable in whom they are meeting and dealing with.
We reserve the right to (see our Policies here) to decline applications for membership rom certain industry sectors or organisations, so we do not accept members of BNI as members or guests for this reason.
