In addition to the range of networking events we also offer regular professional development activities most months. We offer professional development opportunities in three modes:
Schmooze Hosted Events These are workshops or seminars of up to 20 participants over lunch or in the evening after work. These events draw on the expertise of our members who share insights and expert tips on a range of subjects. The events are offered at cost and participants can be assured of walking out the door at the end of the session with information and tools they can apply to their work. If you are interested in presenting at one of these events please contact Phillip. These activities are advertise throughout the network and provide an excellent means to promote your expertise. Schmooze can assist with sourcing venues through our members and sponsors and facilitate all the arrangements. The costs for presenting at one of these events is determined by venue and catering expenses. These activities can also be opened to non-members who would pay a fee to attend.
Member-Invitation Events
Another mode is where Schmooze personally invites small groups of members on your behalf to a professional development event. In the past we've conducted masterclasses on a range of topics at the host's premises or elsewhere. The invited participants are chosen carefully based on their level, sector and potential interest level. These events are offered for free to members to take part.
These events are an exceptional opportunity to reach the key people you want to engage with and share your insights and knowledge. We don't advertise these events through the network, rather the participants are contacted personally by Schmooze on your behalf. There is a servce fee for us to source and invite the participants and facilitate the event for you.

Member Hosted Events
The network also offers members the opportunity to advertise their own events on the website for free. All you need to do is log-in to the Members Lounge and complete the simple 'Add an Event' online form. Once approved the event is live on the website and you choose the social, professional or young professional calendars, and it will also appear on the home page if its the next event coming up.
You can upload images, PDF fliers and all the contact details etc to promote your event. A Member Pass is deducted for each event you add and interested parties contact you directly.
