Schmooze Interest Groups

These member only groups provide the opportunity to network and talk about professional issues in a relaxed setting. Topics are decided in advance by the participants to focus the conversation and brain storming in a collaborative atmosphere.

At times the discussion of these small groups may be structured around a particular topic of common interest, or have a guest speaker, but at all times its a  low-key way to make new contacts, tap in the expertise of others, share ideas or business opportunities.

The groups are only open to Professional and Young Professional members.

Leadership grOUP

This group is for those who have their own company or work at a senior level in their organisation, The group meets each month for lunch or dinner. This is an invitation- only event and offers members the chance to get to know over a superb meal colleagues from organisations that may offer synergies that may help drive their business forward.

SUSTAINABILITY grOUP

This group brings together members who are interested in learning about sustainability in its various guises and how to apply it in the professional and personal lives. The aim of the group is to make information on this important issue more available and for members to learn from each other in an informal setting.

MArketing, PR and communications group

This group is for anyone working or interested in these sectors to provide an opportunity to network, share ideas, workshop issues, and broaden their awareness of industry trends. Topics are determined by the members in advance and provide a great opportunity to tap into the collective expertise of the group. The Interest Group meets once to twice a month at the National Press Club. 

small bUSINESS owners GROUP

This group is for any member who wants to tap into the collective expertise of the many small business owners within Schmooze. It provides a supportive and informal environment for business owners to collaborate, be inspired and learn from each other.
