Schmooze Interest Groups

These groups provide the opportunity fors members to meet and talk about common interests and issues in a relaxed setting. Topics are decided in advance by the participants to focus the conversation and brain storming in a collaborative atmosphere.

At times the discussion of these small groups may be structured around a particular topic of common interest, or have a guest speaker, but at all times its a  low-key way to make new contacts, tap in the expertise of others, share ideas or business opportunities.

The groups are strictly member-only.

Leadership grOUP

This group is for those who have their own company or work at a senior level in your organisation, The group meets each month for lunch. This is an invitation- only event and offers members the chance to get to know over a superb meal colleagues from organisations that may offer synergies that may help drive their business forward.

sUSTAINABILITY grOUP - new in 2010

This group brings together members who are interested in learning about sustainability and how to apply it in the professional and personal lives. The aim of the group is to make information on this important issue more available and for members to learn from each other in an informal setting.

 YOUNG ENTREPENEURS GROUP

The Schmooze Young Entrepreneurs Group is for young people under 30 with their own business or looking to get into business with a great idea. Starting a new business can be tough! This is why it's important to connect with likeminded people who can spark your enthusiasm and share tips & strategies for growth.  

By attending this group you will get advice from successful business owners about how they started their businesses. As part of this groups activities we'll introduce its members to successful business people, mentors to inspire and inform you!  Become part of the next generation of entrepreneurs by coming to this breakfast group meeting several times each year.

MArketing, PR and communications group

This group is for anyone working or interested in these sectors to provide an opportunity to network, share ideas, workshop issues, and broaden their awareness of industry trends. Topics are determined by the members in advance and provide a great opportunity to tap into the collective expertise of the group. The Interest Group meets once to twice a month at the National Press Club.

small bUSINESS owners GROUP

 This group is for any member who wants to tap into the collective expertise of the many small business owners within the network. Members can suggest topics for discussion, or perhaps bring a challenge they are dealing with and tap into the other participants expertise and provide their insights to assist.

The Group provides a supportive and informal environment for business owners to collaborate, be inspired and learn from each other.
