Welcome to the Schmooze Cafe

Schmooze is always looking to provide opportunities for its members to well, network. It also provides the space for conversations between peers to foster the sharing of ideas and collaboration and leads.

So the Schmooze Cafe concept has been introduced where members can meet in small groups during working hours over coffee or lunch.

We want to provide the opportunity for peers to meet and talk about common interests and issues in a relaxed (and neutral ) setting. At times there discussion may be structured around a particular topic of common interest, othertimes its a good way to make new contacts and share ideas or leads.

The events would be free to attend (buy your own coffee/lunch), the usual Member Pass for each would apply for each event, and we'd arrange a suitably comfortable location for our gatherings.

The groups are strictly member-only.

Some of the groups we are thinking about forming are and are seeking coordinators for these groups:

• Photography
• Design
• Visual Arts
• Career Transitions

If you have an idea for a group we are looking for coordinators for each group who can 'host' the event each couple of weeks for about an hour in the inner south and north.   If you want to get involved or have an idea for a group, please get in touch with Phillip

Leadership grOUP

This group is for those who have their own company or work at a senior level in your organisation as a Director/CEO/MD (or similar), The group meets on the 2nd Friday of the month for lunch. This is an invitation- only event and offers members the chance to get to know over a superb meal colleagues from organisations that may offer synergies and ideas that may help drive their business forward.

MArketing and communications group

This group is for anyone working in these sectors from sectors to provide an opportunity to network, share ideas, workshop issues and broaden their awareness of trends and issues. HOME + MICRO bUSINESS GROUP

Do you work from home or by yourself and want to meet fellow small business people?  This group is for any member who wants to get out make some useful contacts with those who have the same challenges and share ideas, insights and explore synergies. The group will meet for coffee or lunch during during the week.
