At Schmooze, every member is important to us and we want to ensure their experience is a rewarding one.
We exist to create opportunities for its members and support their business and professional development.
We offer a program that is comprehensive, innovative and responds to the interests of our members.
Our team works hard to ensure our members can take full advantage the opportunities it offers.
We encourage members to think of us as their very own PR or marketing agency, so if tell us what they want to achieve through your membership and what market they'd like to engage with and we'll do our best to make it happen!
MEMBERS RELATIONS TEAM
We have several members relations managers who are always available to answer questions you may have on how to make the most of your membership. They are also your personal point of contact at events and will introduce you about to the sort of people you'd like to meet.
Schmooze REFERRAL service
Looking for a particular expertise? Schmooze offers this service to anyone for free. People can contact Schmooze and we'll provide the contact details of (up to three) members who may be in a position to assist you- we also let them know we've put them forward.
Please note, social members are not eligible to be referred for business opportunities.
FEATURED MEMBER OF THE WEEK
Each week we select one of our members to be highlighted through our facebook groups and twitter, with a link back to your website to help boost your profile. We can also feature selected members on our website.
MEMBERSHIP TIPS AND ADVICE
Each week on our LinkedIn and facebook groups we provide tips on how to leverage Schmooze and members also share what they've done that works for them. There are also tips on this website.
SOCIAL MEDIA SUPPORT
Members can leverage our thousands of followers / friends across several social media channels and promote their events and expertise through us, and we'll retweet, like or share your content too.
Members also have access to a members only LinkedIn group to help them foster new connections.
Members can also promote their own events/news via our facebook and LinkedIn groups anytime. You'll find the links to the social pages here.
We also tweet the link to a new member website when they join and introduce them via our weekly eNews.
MEMBER EXPERIENCES
Want to get some homeground advantage and showcase your office or venue? Members can partner with Schmooze to host an event as part of our Members Experience program.
MEMBER BLOGS
If you've a blog, you can have it featured on our website and highlighted through our eNews and social media each week.
Concierge service
Have you attended a function wanting to meet a particular person but spent the evening talking to everyone else? Or perhaps you prefer to meet in a more confidential and discreet way? Our unique concierge service is here to help.
We are available to advise you on the right members to contact, just contact us prior to an event with your request and at the event one of our team will discreetly introduce you.
ORIENTATION SESSION
We offer all new and renewing members the opportunity to meet with one of our team to be fully informed about the opportunities Schmooze offers, both through our events and on online.
We can answer any questions you may have, provide a tour of the website and its features, and provide advice on how best to make use of all the facets of Schmooze to support your personal, professional or business objectves.
We're also available to answer any questions you may have at anytime.
First event introductions
Similar to our concierge service, members attending a Schmooze for the first time our team are available to introduce you to some of our regulars to ensure you feel welcome and can get off to the right start.
MEMBERS 360 GROUPS
These are structured, members-only experiences that provide a trusted space for members to road test business ideas, or discuss challenges with their peers and tap into each others expertise
GUEST SPEAKING OPPORTUNITIES
We only use members as presenters for our workshops and Salon events, as it provides an opportunity for them to share their expertise and be marketed in a tasteful and targeted way.

We can facilitate invitation only events for you to meet the right people and can showcase your expertise. Read more about these here
MEMBER PROFILES DATABASE
Members have their company profile and contact details (including social media links) on a profiles database which is accessible via the Members Lounge (login required)
WEBSITE PROMOTION
Our website resources, events calendar (and our eNews) is always available for members to add their content, news and events and reach some 600 unique visitors per day and then cross promoted via our social media channels.
