Calling all Tertiary Students

Get ahead of the pack with Schmooze@Campus, a new program of events designed just for students!

Schmooze@Campus offers you the opportunity to make industry contacts and learn the fundamental interpersonal skills you need to kick-start your career.

The program was developed by Schmooze in response to demand by tertiary students and will feature industry experts sharing their insights with you in short, targeted sessions.

The events are student-budget friendly and run at locations close to where you study to make them as accessible as possible.

The topics we explore range from: “Interviews and First Impressions” to “How to make the most of my Internship” and the content of the program is based what tertiary students have told us they are looking for.

We've run several successful events in October 2011 and already lined up jobs, interviews and internships for the participants!

We have also been commissioned to run several in-house events for the University of Canberra village residents, in addition to our public program open to all.

Campus Topics from Market Research (2 Topics per Session)

Background

This is a new program of events developed in response to demand by students at the Australian National University, University of Canberra and the Canberra Institute of Technology.

The events provide a range of essential interpersonal and career skills in a series of informal workshops delivered by the Schmooze team and our expert members. We deliver the events near, or on the campuses and at a price that will make them each for the students to attend.

The presenters are subject matter experts drawn from our extensive membership, and the events will be held in an informal setting with networking to follow the presentations. The events are open to tertiary students only and we can be commissioned to run the sessions in house for organisations- please contact us for details.
