Schmooze Program for 2012
About
In 2012 we expand our regular program and introduce several new initiatives for our members and guests to provide you with a wide range of opportunities. We are also planning to expand our professional community to Tasmania!
Members can enjoy our hosted events for free, or at cost if social members, in all locations providing exceptional value. The retail value of the Canberra program alone is over $2500 to attend all the events we'll offer, not to mention all the services and promotional opportunities we provide our members.
Non-members are always welcome and can purchase Casual Guest Passes for $55 for each event.
- There will be other special activities, members-only events and joint ventures announced during the year as well, plus the events are members will host.

- Please note, you need to be a member to be eligible to be invited to present, or sponsor or contribute to our program in some way.

Initiatives
- We'll be capping our ACT Region memberships at 500 organisations only to ensure we'll continue to provide our high level of personalsed service
- Schmooze Member of the Year Awards - recognising our special members and their qualities.
- Guest Members Blogs - providing another plaform for them to share their expertise, read more here
- Events on Demand in all locations - a wide mix of activites that will be voted for by our members and run when a threshold is met
- Our membership rates will be on hold (same for over 2 years) until July 2012
- Professional Relations Master Class Series presented by Schmooze's Founder Phillip Jones, members can attend at special rates, read more
- Website enhancements including social media links for members profiles for our online contacts database
- Continuing our Featured Causes of the Month as suggested by our members
Canberra

- 11 Young Professional Lifeskills seminars for under 30's
- 8 Schmooze@Campus workshops for tertiary students
- 5 Business Lunch Club events exploring topical ideas for discussion and debate
- An expanded Schmooze Canberra Region Market Place expo which will include a seminar program, see this page for info on the 2011 event
Melbourne
We'll be offering as our regular program:

- The opportunity to participate in the Canberra Region Market Place expo which will include a seminar program
Tasmania
We are looking to launch in the first half of 2012, and will offer a mix to start with:
